Sunshine Coast Funerals offer a contemporary, cost-effective solution: no funeral no service cremation, also known as Simple Cremation. You still get the support and the guest of honour gets the care you would expect. This straight forward and private option allows families to honour their loved one without the formalities or higher expenses of more traditional funerals.
The price includes transfers (regardless of the time of day or day of the week), mortuary care, legal paperwork, ashes delivered to you and death certificate mailed directly to you.

The benfits of a farewell service are undeniable.
An experienced celebrant will guide you through your celebration, at a location that’s meaningful to you and the guest of honour.
We often call this place their Third Place. Perhaps not their work or home (although it absolutely could be), but the place they go to relax, unwind, reconnect with themselves, to feel at peace. It might be their favourite beach or park, a sporting club, pub or surf club.
For thousands of years on every continent, every culture and every religion has marked someone’s passing as significant. A well run service allows us time to recognise the life that has been lived, reconnect with our family, friends and community, grieve in a healthy way and demostrate to the next generation that this is what we do. We take a little time out of lives to express the importance of an individual.

Funeral Service and Cremation

Enjoy an initimate service for up to 15 people in our Nambour facility. Share stories, pay tribute and celebrate the life that was lived, knowing the memories stay forever in our hearts.
The service is co-ordinated by an experienced celebrant who will do whatever is possible (and legal) to personalise the service to reflect the personality of the guest of honour.
The price includes transfers (regardless of the time of day or day of the week), mortuary care, legal paperwork, ashes delivered to you and death certificate mailed directly to you.
Coffin Decorating Service
$3995
If you’d like a less structured celebration, having a gathering as you decorate the coffin may be perfect.
This can be done in the comfort of your own home or at our Nambour facility (for up to 15 people).
Share stories, play music, and remember that person in a way they would have appreciated.
If you’re having the service at home, we’ll bring the empty cardboard coffin to you for decorating. A celebrant can be available (at no extra charge) for up to 45 minutes to help as much or as little as you need.
If you choose to have the Decorating Service at our Nambour facility, the guest of honour will also be there. It’s a nice way of saying ‘Farewell’ in a more relaxed environment.
We’ll provide the paints and brushes, but feel free to add photo’s, clothing or meaningful items to add to the celebration.
