Our farewell services are not generally in a church or chapel.
You’re more likely to see us on the beach, in a park, at the Surf Club or scattering ashes off the side of the Coast Guard boat.
Fine Print
Our Simple Cremation price (currently $2695) will not change unless we update the website. Regardless of where on the Sunshine Coast we pick up the guest of honour, the price stays the same. Anywhere from Pelican Waters to Noosa to Maleny and everywhere in between. If your address is on the Sunshine Coast, you’re in. There’s no surcharge for after hours, extra fees for Aged Care facilities or expensive add ons for an over-priced coffin.
We’ve partnered with local business Daisy Box to provide eco-friendly coffins. They’re made from recycled cardboard so there’s no nasty toxins released into the atmosphere when they’re cremated. You may wish to paint and decorate to make your celebration even more personal.
Our Memorial fee may change if you want to hire a room, book space on council land, organise catering, invite musicians and so on. The extra fees are paid directly to the provider, not to Sunshine Coast Funerals. We don’t add an additional 40% surcharge.
Saying goodbye is hard enough. There’s no nasty surprises when you’re at your most vulnerable.
